Public Demo
There's now a public demo! It's based off of the newly released version 0.5.0. I will attempt to keep it updated alongside the alpha, but it will not have all of the content updates the alpha receives because, well, it's a demo! I'd love it if you threw the demo at any friends you think might enjoy the game.
Version 0.5.0 Patch Notes
General
- Added a material system to the game to help keep collision checks between different spells and objects logically consistent
- Added a check to ensure that if a player chooses all random spells, the player will be guaranteed to have at least one spell that can deal damage
Graphics
- Added support for variable screen sizes
User Interface and Menus
- Added Settings Menu to Main Menu
- Added the ability to turn the turn timer off in the Settings Menu
- Settings (including window size) are saved when the game is closed
- Moved Gamepad Setup menu into the Settings Menu on Main Menu
- Added a fullscreen toggle to Settings Menu
- Added a Change Spells option to the results screen (using this will go to the spell select screen and pre-select the spells you were using last match for you)
- Updated the player UI to show the controls for Wait and Delete Spell
Balancing
- Burning now reduces Ice damage by 0.8x
- Burning now reduces Water damage by 0.8x
- Frozen now reduces Fire damage by 0.8x
- Frozen’s Lighting damage reduction changed from 0.5x to 0.8x
- Drenched’s Fire damage reduction changed from 0.5x to 0.8x
Bugs
- Fixed a bug where Gravity Tether was not adding velocity to tethered objects
